1 BIG Thing Your Summer's Missing!

What is one thing you can do today that would make you feel like you're on vacation (!!!)? Sit in your favorite chair, read four pages of the book you've been wanting to read... Make a moment. CREATE! a moment that feels like you're on vacation. Your focus here is: What can I do that's fun, restful... and put that thing into the summer, making it a part of your rhythm.

Make a restful habit!

Spend fifteen minutes taking in the smell of a bar of soap. Put oil in the diffuser. Give yourself a mini-massage, treating your hands with lotion. Relaxing is good, but can you take it a step further and go on short vacation in your mind? 

You're going to leave behind a few responsibilities (like you do when you're on vacation!) and say a wholehearted YES to a mini-vacay in your brain to give yourself just the juvination you need. 

I had fifteen minutes the other day and... I didn’t know what to do with them - I was so overwhelmed! Here's my idea for YOU: write three mini vacation ideas down + put them inside of your cabinet...voile! Your go-to when you have a moment OR if you need a moment! Grab some Lime spray, spray it on your face and breeeathe.

I keep a book that I’m reading next to the fireplace and I take a few minutes some evenings to relax in my favorite chair. When I’m cooking dinner, I light a candle, put an apron on, and play fun music to deem the time special. 

As a family, we put special music on to make it our time - that we spend together, our. breakfast.

Sun on your toes, GO OUTSIDE. Be in nature, get fresh air. These are the moments of you life ~ why not make a few of them a vacation :)
