5 Inspired Pieces for YOUR Most Romantic Look!

Coquelicot. It's a shade of red.

Originally a French vernacular name for the wild corn poppy, distinguished by its bright red color, and orange tint. Eventually, it found its way into English usage as the name of a color based upon the name of the flower.

The studio girls were tearing off the drooping heads of these roses the other day. The color of these roses. You guys. If ruby red kissed a tangerine -- the sweetest, most vivid color, this coquelicot was.

I found them laughing with delight at the way - when they tossed the flower bits out the window of the fourth floor, just cracked - the wind caught the petals mid-air and they danced evvver so freely ~ for a moment. Just for a moment, before traveling further on down 6th Street.

The whole event made me think of Valentine's Day, love, and delight. The air of being surprised and caught by something so wonderful, you couldn't have planned it if you tried. The petals suspended in time, caught up by the movement around them as if all of the world was handing them this moment to gleefully float mid-air, mid-city ~ kind of like being in love.

You want to be ready for a time like this. Not that you can make it happen, but why not be able to be fully in the moment, because you've already taken care of that best look.
