Seasons. They change. And with them, alllll the working rhythms of the one gone by. So much transition equals zingy excitement and the stress that comes with newness and the unfamiliar.
Well.
We've got news for you. As a team, we've devised T H R E E good ways to prepare yourself for the fall. Prep in the kitchen makes for an easy dinner whip-up and the same is true for life. Here we go...
First, decide on a stylin' treat for yourself. Let's be honest: the days will come where your hair in a top knot for the third (fourth, fifth) day in a row is not the look you want to be going for, but it has happened TO you! We've got a solution. Invest in a piece of jewelry that says to you, "Girl! Pull yourself together! I've got you!" When you put it on, it satisfies that frantic - NOTHING. is going right. feeling inside. Is it not worth it today to set yourself up for a win tomorrow? We think YES.
Hammered into a perfect effect, the Banner earrings are proven to outlast the toughest of days. A sure ally made of 14kt. gold fill on tiny gold loops...

Secondly, BREATHE.
Practice deep breathing now -- through your nose and out your mouth. Push that tummy out as far as it'll go as you fill up your chest with good, fresh air. Hold it for a few counts at the top of your breaths and once you've let it out alike. When you practice during normal days, you're ready for the saucy ones before they even come knockin!
Immediate relief b e f o r e you even need it! Way to go, girl!
Lastly - you're almost there! Plan your "happy places." For me it's just being at the farmers market or at the zoo. There's no agenda, no big rush or task ahead. When I put work + phone aside & take time to observe + enjoying my girls, I experience their kind of freedom... It inspires me! -- had to share this photo. I love how Esther is throwing caution to the wind with those "let it go" arms above her head.
Whatever your happy place is, don't. budge. YOU need investment TOO, to keep giving out what you give to all your people. Take it from me, we do better when we do well for ourselves, as well as for everyone else. Make notes in your calendar or speak with your special ones - make a plan for getting some free, agendaless good time EVERY once in a while. You NEED this!
I so believe in you. And believe you're worth it ;)
