As an artist, I desire to create whimsical, timeless, meaningful pieces that people literally hold close to their heart. The idea for this series was birthed from a moment where several things collided. In my walk with God I need reminders throughout my day to focus on the truth — who He says He is and who He says I am. In a world of constant noise and chaos, I increasingly feel encouraged to turn my attention away from the things going on around me…When I choose to create from the authentic place of what God has placed in me instead of reaching to pull from what is around me, something of lasting beauty results.
