Shammah means "God is there." A reminder that God is with you he is present no matter where you are. Just like this stone is securely attached to the metal.

In Ezekiel we find the last new name of God in the Old Testament a fitting name to bring the Old Testament revelation to a climax… “The city (Jerusalem) shall be 18000 cubits round about; and the name of the city from that day shall be The LORD is there (Jehovah-Shammah)”. (Ezekiel 48:35)
